We are very grateful to the POWAY POST OFFICE LETTER CARRIERS for once again dedicating their food drive to The Angel's Depot on Saturday, May 14, 2011. They did a
wonderful job for us this year, as they nearly doubled their pounds of food from 2010. The blue plastic food bags the Letter Carriers put in everyone's mail box this
year really helped folks remember to put food in it the next day! The Letter Carriers Food Drive is held nationwide the 2nd Saturday in May each year!

Here are the 2010 LETTER CARRIERS Food Drive Totals dedicated to us:

2010 POWAY LETTER CARRIERS - 10,100 lbs.
Volunteer Captain was Al Pfeltz; food drive was manned by Harrah's Rincon Casino & Resort & Carlsbad High School volunteers.

2010 ESCONDIDO EAST LETTER CARRIERS - 8,050 lbs.
Volunteer Captain was Mike Leone; food drive was manned by Escondido Rotary and Escondido Boy Scout volunteers.

Thanks to Laura Strickler for successfully lobbying in our behalf with the Letter Carriers to help make this happen!
